Peaches Geldof's Instagram account has been shut down (PIcture: AP)Two days after her tragic death, Peaches Geldof's Instagram account - in which she had shared hundreds of family pictures - has been shut down.
The late daughter of Sir Bob Geldof and Paula Yates updated her thousands of followers, often on a daily basis, with adorable pictures documenting her family life with her husband Tom Cohen and two sons Astala and Phaedra on her online profile.
But today her Instagram profile was no longer active and Metro.co.uk understand the account was closed after a request from her close family members.
While Instagram doesn't comment on specific cases, a spokesman for the social sharing site told us: 'When a person passes away, we do honour requests from close family members to deactivate their Instagram account, which removes the profile and associated information from the site.'
