He toured the world and has felt the rush of playing in sold out arenas countless times as the bassist of Fall Out Boy.

But there is even more excitement ahead for Pete Wentz as he has another child on the way.

The 34-year-old musician posted a photograph to Instagram on Monday with his model girlfriend Meagan Camper to announce that they are expecting.

In the photo, Pete and Meagan wear white shirt as they share a smooch while laying down together.

The bassist's hand is strategically placed atop his gorgeous girlfriend's pregnant stomach, with just a hint of a tiny bump, in the image.

The Fall Out Boy musician captioned it: 'We're super excited to announce we're expecting a baby!'

This will be the second child for the Dance, Dance musician as he already has a five-year-old son named Bronx Mowgli with his ex-wife Ashlee Simpson.

Pete and Meagan have reportedly been hoping to start a family for a while now.

A source told People: 'They've been planning on this for a while. And they're really excited for Bronx to have a new little buddy.'

'Meagan is a big sister and has a great relationship with Bronx. She's naturally maternal so this is perfect.'

Pete and Meagan started dating in September 2011 and he recently revealed they are also hoping to get married soon.

He said: 'We talk about [marriage] a lot. I feel really lucky. It's really interesting when you're in a relationship with somebody who's truly your best friend. I talk to her about everything.'

'She will tell me when I'm being not so insane, and sometimes she's like, 'You're being a little bit insane.' So, it's very helpful.'

Meanwhile, his ex Ashlee recently had a milestone in her love life as she announced her engagement to Diana Ross' son Evan, which happened during a New Year's holiday in Hawaii.
