How Is Google+ Doing? [Infographic]

Google+ tends to lay low in the world of social media, and you may just be surprised how far it's come thanks to a new infographic.

Titled 'The State Of Google+,' marketing agency We Are Social gathered all the data that's been shared thus far.

Google+ had 1.15 billion registered users and 359 million monthly active users in Q4 2013, up from 435 million registered users and 223 million active users in Q4 2012.

While 32 percent of current registered users are active on a monthly basis, that percentage has dropped from 51 percent thanks to a skyrocket in new users.

After all, Google+ is integrated in a number of Google products, most notably YouTube.

The social network had 201.6 million monthly active users on mobile in Q4 2013, up from 92.7 million in Q4 2012.

Here's the breakdown of active Google+ users:

62 percent men 38 percent women 25 to 34-year-olds are most active, followed by ages 16 to 24 and 35 to 44

Between Q4 2012 and Q4 2013, time spent on the site nearly doubled to six minutes, 47 seconds.

Around 1.5 billion images, including GIFs, are uploaded each week, and here are the most popular reasons for using Google+:
