NFL Player Reacts to His Facebook Post on Ferguson That Went Viral

New Orleans Saints tight end Benjamin Watson made headlines all week after his Facebook post regarding the Ferguson grand jury decision went viral. Watson, who did not take sides, addressed many of the emotions felt by Americans of all racial and ethnic backgrounds nationwide. Appearing on Fox News on Friday, Watson talked about it more with host Andrea Tantaros.

Watson said he was surprised at the reaction his post received, adding that he often takes to writing to express his thoughts and emotions. He also said our culture today 'glorifies violence,' and that Hollywood and pop culture are the main culprits. 'We need to teach kids that while this may be cool on TV, it's not cool in real life,' Watson said.

Tantaros then asked Watson if people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson hurt or help the situation, to which he said the two have done 'tremendous things for the black community,' but can also use TV and radio to 'incite people.'
