With nearly 3000 followers, Princess Beatrice has finally had her Twitter account verified.
The young royal, who has been a member of the social networking site for some time, is now approved from the company to show that her account is authentic.
Soon after the blue tick appeared on her page, the young royal tweeted: 'So happy to be verified, thank you @TwitterUK.'
Clearly a newbie to the micro-blogging site, It was merely her sixth tweet.
A proud father, the Duke of York, who has over 40,000 followers - having joined Twitter in April - retweeted the news. He has tweeted 370 times now - including recently a picture of his staff curling in the office.
Comparatively, Princess Beatrice has just 3,118 followers.
The Queen's granddaughter currently uses the handle @Yorkiebea - with one tweet on February 21 to singer Pharrell, joking 'Good Luck with your hat auction @Pharrell From one hat lover to another,'.
It was a reference to Bea's famous hat she wore to the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in April 2011.
Currently, her list of followers include her mother, Sarah Ferguson, and popular men's journalist Danny Wallace.
She herself follows a wide variety of people including comedienne Joan Rivers, online retailer Net-A-Porter, Holly Branson and Stephen Fry.
But, naturally, her networking is not just reserved to the virtual world.
She is currently completing an internship in the television department of Sony Entertainment in London, and is clearly taking advantage of the opportunity to be out and about in the capital.
Beatrice left her job at an investment capital firm last summer and used the interim period to travel with long term boyfriend Dave Clark and continue her royal charity work.
