The Instagram community helped a complete stranger pull together the perfect engagement - and even threw a party for the couple afterwards.
Carter Moore, 24, proposed to Brookelynn Howe, 22, in December last year on a bluff overlooking Cannon Beach in Oregon on the first day of a week-long trip that was organized using the advice and recommendations of people he followed on Instagram.
Moore had been inspired by the gorgeous scenery of the Pacific Northwest in pictures posted to the photo-sharing website and on a whim, phoned one photographer, Branden Harvey, for his advice on the area.

Harvey, along with other Instagram friends, advised Moore on everything from beaches to restaurants and even the most romantic spot to ask for Howe's hand in marriage.
'He was so organized about this trip. I gave him as much advice as I could,' Harvey told Mashable.
'I explained to him what the Oregon coast is like near where he wanted to get down on one knee. I gave him a list of awesome restaurants in Portland. I got to hear his story of how he met Brooke and why he wanted to marry her. It was beautiful.'
One, Harvey's friend Colin Cabalka, was so touched by Moore's story that he offered the pair a place to stay in Oregon.
Moore of Colorado, surprised Howe with tickets to Portland at the airport. When they arrived, they drove a rented car down to the Oregon coast, where Moore asked her to marry him as the sun set below the wild sea.
The pair went to celebrate with dinner, and when they arrived back at Cabalka's house, he, Harvey and a group of their friends greeted them with a suprise party full of champagne, balloons and congratulations from people they had never met before but now call friends.
'Carter loved Brooke enough to call a complete stranger and ask for a favor. I love that,' Harvey told Mashable.
'When I see people striving to live life boldly with excellence, I can't help but say yes to being a part of helping.'
Harvey and Cabalka created a video about Moore and Howe's engagement.
Moore is amazed at the response it has received.
'It was out of a place of love and adoration for my wife that I wanted to do this,' he says. 'And I'm honored those people - strangers I reached out to through a social network - helped and got to be a part of something so special to us,' he told Mashable.
The couple were recently married.
