1. Google+ celebrates Valentine's Day with animated hearts

If you weren't in the Valentine's Day spirit, this awesome feature for Google+ users might change your tune. The #AutoAwesome effect from the designers at Google+ adds animated hearts to pictures of people kissing.

While the photo may not update immediately, just wait for a bit and you'll see the changes take effect. There wasn't any word on whether it works on pictures of someone kissing a dog or cat.

Happy Valentine's Day!

2. The modern wingman that fits in the palm of your hand

This app changes everything about dating - one of the worst experiences single people voluntarily subject themselves to.

Seriously, is there anything worse than a first date? Am I wearing the right clothes? Who determines what the right clothes are anyway? Did I brush my teeth? What if she's a psycho cat lady? Am I a psycho cat dude? Am I talking too much about Star Wars? Why am I talking about Star Wars? If I take her home now can I catch a live SportsCenter? The worst.

Crowdpilot is here to help out those who are trying to navigate the stormy waters of dating. The app lets you crowdsource real-time advice from Facebook friends or Crowdpilot users. The app uses your microphone to provide audio from the date, and the users can send advice, questions, directions - whatever they want - straight to your mobile phone.

3. Take your iPhone to the ballgame, take it out to navigate the crowds

Baseball fans with iPhones should find it easier to get around Major League Baseball ballparks this season. MLB is deploying Bluetooth-based iBeacons - a feature that is new to iOS 7 - at stadiums across the country.

When you're at the stadium, use the MLB At the Ballpark app to receive notifications as you wander around the stadium. The notifications can be used to help find your seat, find discounts at stores, and watch videos.

With more than 20 parks set to have the iBeacons set up by Opening Day, odds are a stadium near you will have the feature.

Steam has deployed a new tags system, where users can input custom tags on any Stream page to help find new games to play.
