They are the unwanted guests in the background, the snapshot saboteurs who will stop at nothing to ruin your photographs.

However, some might say they actually improve the end result.

The craze of photobombing shows no signs of slowing and to mark another storming year of sneaking into people's shots, social networking site Tumblr has revealed its favourite photobombs of 2013.
