Best Instagram moments of 2013

My 2013 was one big blur. Luckily, I had my iPhone on hand to catch some amazing moments and of course, share them on Instagram. Each of the photos I have chosen and posted below have a story behind them.

13 moments that made 2013 one of my best, most challenging, incredibly fulfilling years ever (as seen on Instagram, follow @professors_wife):

While waiting in the newly opened Panera Bread drive-thru on Wolf Road, I snapped this snowy January pic. Caught in the lunch rush, I remember thinking to myself, 'you need to document this day somehow.' At that moment, I was almost positive that the pregnancy test I planned to pick up on my way home from work that evening would later read - well - positive.

5 hours later, I was right.

Even though I had yet to find out the baby's gender via ultrasound, I just knew it was a boy. I spent the duration of an April Yankees game buying every bit of baby boy memorabilia in Yankee Stadium!

I will maintain this bright red hair color for eternity.

My sister-in-law got married on December 15th in Morgantown, WV; she and my father-in-law put a different spin on the whole father/daughter dance, busted out some bandannas and yanked my husband on the dance floor as the DJ blasted California Love. Perfect for a bunch of Tupac lovers, and by far the best moment I captured at the wedding/reception.
