Canon's Project Imagination may be a way for the company to promote filmmaking with its DSLR cameras, but it has also yielded some fascinating and impressive short films. With the guidance of director Ron Howard, Project Imagination is showing off 10 short films - five from celebrities and five picked from a wide pool of submissions. One of the five celebrity films was shot and written by Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, not someone typically known for getting behind the camera. While he didn't have someone like Neil Gaiman writing the script for him, his short film Evermore is a well-shot, highly polished affair - his camerawork captures the story of an eight-year-old girl who uses Edgar Allen Poe's 'The Raven' as a way to bring her mother and grandfather closer to her and each other.

All in all, it's a well-crafted affair, with a number of creative and clever shots - we particularly enjoyed the way Stone shot the miniature world the grandfather builds alone in his hobby shop, and the girl's Raven outfit brings to mind a Batman-esque superhero. The original music fits the film well, and it doesn't hurt that noted actress Lisa Edelstein ( House, M.D.) takes on the role as the mother. Check out Evermore below, and visit Canon's site to learn more about the project and see the 10 photographs that inspired Stone's film.
