Nobel to OPCW on Twitter: Where are you guys?

When the Nobel Peace Prize committee couldn't reach the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons by phone, it turned to a newer means of communication: Twitter.

The committee tweeted twice on Friday morning, first with a message to OPCW to contact the Nobel office and then with a general message that it still had not been in touch.

Difficulty reaching winners by phone has been a pattern throughout this year's awarding of the Nobel prizes, including a delay reaching literature winner Alice Munro, a Canadian, as well as physics prize winner Peter Higgs, thought to be somewhere in Scotland.
