For those of you who are unfamiliar with the acronym, it means Mum I'd Like to F***, and is typically assigned to attractive mothers. As a regular on Hollywood's 'most sexy' lists, it isn't that much of a surprise that most Twitter users feel that way about her. I imagine most held those sentiments before she became a mother.
But it is incredibly reductive, with tweeters discussing her 'milk cushions' and how she has 'crossed over from Extremely Hot Chick to MILF'. Because, you know, it's not like she's also been an incredibly successful actress - she's just 'hot'.
Mila Kunis with partner Ashton Kutcher
But of course, while Twitter is full of #Mila and #MILF hashtags, her baby's father, Ashton Kutcher, has only a handful of#DILF hashtags to his name. #Awkward, as his followers might say, but definitely a sign that while a woman is still defined by her looks first and foremost, a man just isn't.
As always, the lovely internet has proven yet again that any celebratory occasion will always have a murkier side - often one that has some good old-fashioned sexism tied in. Let's just hope that Mila is too busy enjoying motherhood to bother refreshing her Twitter feed.
