Twitter reacts to Kansas City Royals' sixth straight playoff win

Kansas City beat the Baltimore Orioles 6-4 to take a 2-0 lead in the ALCS. It was their sixth straight playoff win after not even making it to the post season for almost 30 years.

Being up two games in the best-of-seven series makes the possibility of seeing the Royals in the World Series a very real thing.

What makes this timely winning streak doubly shocking is the fact that the Kansas City Royals are almost always bad. Therefore, long-suffering Royals fans as well as just people who have even a passing interest in baseball know that this run of form is supremely uncommon.

The Internet simply can't make sense of how good the Royals are right now.

Man, sometimes you just gotta get out of the way and let destiny happen #royals

The Royals and Orioles will play Game 3 of the ALCS on Monday night at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.
