Top 50 Most Viewed US YouTube Channels • Week Of 10/17/14

It's another installment of the weekly Tubefilter Chart of the Top 50 Most Viewed U.S. YouTube Channels and now familiar channel is at #1.


DisneyCollectorBR is in first place on the U.S. charts for its fourth week running. The video catalog showcasing children's toys continues to grow its weekly audience, too. This time the channel received a 16% week-over-week increase in views to top out at a very impressive more than 99.4 million views on the week.


Blucollection is next up in second place. One of the other YouTube channels featuring videos of adults playing with children's toys received a 19% uptick in views to end the week with more than 45.8 million of them.


Top Gainers

Katy Perry is up next in the #3 spot. The pop star who hasn't released a significant online video in several weeks still received more than 42.9 million views in the last seven days. Enrique Iglesias is next in the fourth place position. The other pop star in the Top 5 who also hasn't released a significant online video in several weeks also managed to receive a healthy number of views. Iglesias' channel topped out at nearly 42.6 million views on the week.


And rounding out the Top 5 is WWE Fan Nation. The YouTube home of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. witnessed a 60% week-over-week increase in views to end the seven-day stretch with nearly 38.9 million views.


Channel Distribution

The honor of our Top Gainer in the U.S. this week goes to Comedy Central.


The YouTube outpost of the Viacom-owned cable channel benefitted from the recent return of their hit sketch comedy show Key & Peele. The new season of the program debuted on September 24, 2014, but it wasn't until the release of ' Text Message Confusion' that the show's fourth season had its first major viral hit. The clip easily racked up a seven-figure view count and helped give Comedy Central's channel a 111% week-over-week increase in views and claim the #10 spot in the US with more than 32.8 million views overall.


The top 50 most viewed U.S. YouTube channels this week amassed a total of 1,279,046,507 views. Here's the distribution of those channels by multi-channel network:
