It's another installment of the Top 100 Most Subscribed YouTube Channels Worldwide and PewDiePie is still on top.
Felix Kjellberg's PewDiePie channel is back at the top of our monthly Most Subscribed YouTube channels chart. The internet's most popular destination for Let's Play videos (whose creator is 'happy' at Maker Studios) retained the #1 spot despite a 28% decrease in its subscriber acquisition rate, bottoming out at just over 0.80 million new subs on the month.
Top Gainers
In second place is the Polish prankster wardegasa, whose epic scares helped the channel amass an additional 0.79 million subscribers in September. Next up is fouseyTUBE. The channel that's home to Yousef Saleh Erakat's videos and pranks tested its might with a Mortal Kombat-themed spoof. The results were overwhelmingly positive and garnered Erakat's channel another .46 million subscribers.
VanossGaming is up next in fourth place. The Canadian gamer with a penchant for comedy scored nearly 0.43 million new subscribers on the month. And rounding out the Top 5 is Ariana Grande. The channel that's home to 21-year-old burgeoning pop star from Boca Raton, Florida's music videos played for more than 0.42 million new subscribers in September.
The honor of Top Gainer this month goes to the aforementioned wardegasa.
Channel Distribution
Polish filmmaker S.A. Wardega's channel proudly displays the mottos 'Insane people are the best!' and 'Don't take life so seriously,' both of which are exemplified in the young man's videos. One of his latest mega hits uploaded back in May 2013 features a vigilante Spider-Man dancing to Psy's single 'Gentleman'. But his latest upload is by far his most monstrous hit.

The video has amassed more than 100 million views and accounts for wardegasa's impressive 816% increase in its subscriber acquisition rate. All in, the channel ended the month with nearly 0.79 million new subscribers and the #2 spot in the world.
