If you're anything like us, you've wiled away many hours glued to the Boiler Room TV live streams. With regular broadcasts from New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, London and other electronic music capitals across the world, the Boiler Room archives are a treasure trove of scorching sets.
In the last few months alone, we've seen The Gaslamp Killer, Caribou, Maceo Plex, Fred P, Lunice and many more in their element. As much as it's the music we tune in for, though, an added bonus of Boiler Room TV is the people-watching. You can always be guaranteed a few colourful characters dancing/head-nodding/flipping-out behind the DJ, threatening to steal the spotlight. (Sometimes, the bizarre activity on the sidelines becomes infamous, such as 'The Ellum Guy' from Maceo Plex's recent appearance.)
Now the creators of the 'Boiler Room knows what you did last night' Tumblr have painstakingly compiled a 'best of' ode to all those background players. We can only salute them for selflessly scouring hours of footage to unearth (and GIF) some truly awkward gems.
