My Instagram: Luis Arturo Sanchez

Luis Arturo Sanchez is the voice (and face) behind men's fashion site www.donborsch.com. The 21-year-old grew up in Mexico before moving to Boston to pursue a marketing degree at Bunker Hill Community College and currently divides his time between the East Coast, West Coast, and south of the border. Follow him on Instagram (@donborsch) for an extension of his personal style blog with an account that is clean, serene, and full of strategic pops of color and light.

Q. You're quite the jetsetter. What has brought you from place to place?

A. I currently spend most of my time in Boston where I go to school, but I think I have covered half of the globe over the past few years - from Mexico to Hawaii, East and West coast from north to south, South America and Europe. I always try to show the uniqueness and beauty of each place I visit through the lens of my iPhone with a touch of my own style.

A. I have a very sporty-casual style, so a good pair of sneakers, an oversize white T-shirt, a well-fitting pair of jeans, and a great jacket - it's all about keeping it simple.

Q. Are there any designers you're following right now?

A. I follow the work of Nicolas Ghesquiere, Marc Jacobs, and Alexander Wang. I admire their sense of fashion and what they represent in the men's fashion industry.

Q. And how would you describe your Instagram?

A. My account is all about simplicity. Like with fashion, I've always been attracted to simple things, so I always try to make my shots look minimalistic and clean. My photographs project a combination of fashion and things that catch my eye, shot in my personal style.

Q. What drew you to the platform?

A. I started using Instagram occasionally, without rhyme or reason - I think most people start that way. Last summer I began to focus on my goals and with the start of my blog I realized that Instagram was a perfect platform to help showcase my style and creativity. It also provides a daily dose of inspiration from a very talented community of photographers.

Q. So who else are you following?

A. I've found Instagram to be filled with talented people, so I like to follow those who are able to make me feel something while I see their pictures. As far as fashion and photography go, I really like Oracio Alvarado (@oracio), Lulú Pantoja (@lulupantoja), and Nick Wooster (@nickwooster).
