By clicking 'like,' you will be directed to the Sweepstakes entry form on which you will be required to provide all information requested, including, without limitation, name, telephone number, city, state, and a valid email address. ELIGIBILITY
Void where prohibited by law and outside the eligibility area. This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the Los Angeles Designated Market Area, as defined by The Nielsen Company, who are 18 years of age or older as of October 1, 2014, who possess a California Driver's License, and who have not won any other prize from KTLA within the 60 days prior to the Sweepstakes Period. Employees of other media companies (including radio and television), Sponsor and its parent corporations, subsidiaries, or affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies, and such employees' immediate family (parents, spouse, siblings, grandparents, children) or household members are not eligible to enter or win the Sweepstakes.
PRIZE AND WINNER SELECTION
All entries will be combined into a single pool, and twenty (20) winners will be selected in a random drawing on October 28, 2014. Sponsor will attempt to notify each winner by telephone or by e-mail.
The odds of being declared a winner depend on the number of eligible entries. If the selected winner is not eligible, declines the prize, or cannot be contacted within twenty-four (24) hours of the initial notification, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner randomly selected by Sponsor from all remaining valid entries.
Each winner in this Sweepstakes will receive the status of Semi-Finalist in the 'MERCEDES-BENZ GLA - WINNER SELECTION 2014″ CONTEST,' sponsored by KTLA LLC.
The prize in this Sweepstakes has no Approximate Retail Value.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, may not be combined with any other offer, and has no cash value. Prize substitution will not be allowed, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for the prize. Any unused prize elements will be forfeited. Properly claimed prizes will be awarded, but in no event will Sponsor award more prizes than are provided for in these Official Rules.Any difference between actual value and stated ARV will not be awarded.
Prize is awarded 'as is' with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, by Sponsor.
All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize, as well as all other costs or expenses involved in obtaining or using the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
The winner may be asked to come to KTLA at 5800 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028 to pick up his or her prize.
The winners may be required to present valid identification and may be required to sign a Statement of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release by the deadline established by Sponsor in order to receive the prize. If the winner does not fulfill these requirements, the prize may be forfeited. Winners have 3 days to return an IRS W-9 tax form, and Statement of Eligibility and Liability. Winner will receive a 1099 tax form reflecting the actual value of any prize that is $600 or more.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
If for any reason, the Internet-related portion of this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause which corrupts or threatens the administration, security or integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes or any portion of the Sweepstakes. If Sponsor terminates the Sweepstakes, Sponsor will select winners by random drawing from among all valid, non-suspect entries received prior to the termination and will post notice of the termination on the Sweepstakes website and Facebook pages. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit any entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes if, at its sole discretion, Sponsor finds such entrant to be tampering with the entry process or if such individual repeatedly shows a disregard for, or attempts to circumvent, these Official Rules, or acts: (a) in a manner the Sponsor determines to be not fair or equitable; (b) with an intent to annoy, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor; or (c) in any other disruptive manner. ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES. By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Facebook, and their respective parent corporations, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and the officers, directors, agents, and employees of all such companies from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of action, or losses of any kind resulting from your participation in this Sweepstakes, and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize and any travel related thereto, including without limitation, personal injury, death, property damage, defamation, infringement of intellectual property rights, and claims based on the rights of publicity and privacy. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with these Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions. All disputes arising out of or relating to any prize shall be solely and exclusively brought in state or federal courts within Orange County, California. Such claims shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and all such claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event to include attorneys' fees.
By participating in this Sweepstakes, you also agree to have your name, photograph, voice, biographical information, and likeness used in any and all media for promotional purposes relating to this Sweepstakes or future similar sweepstakes without further compensation or notice, except as prohibited by law.

CONTEST DATES The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. PT on October 28, 2014 and ends at 9:59:59 a.m. PT on November 3, 2014 (the 'Contest Period'). ELIGIBILITY Void Where Prohibited By Law.
This Contest is open only to winners of the 'MERCEDES-BENZ GLA GIVEAWAY 2014 - SEMI-FINALIST SELECTION' Sweepstakes ('Semi-Finalist Sweepstakes') sponsored by KTLA LLC.
PRIZE AND WINNER SELECTION
On or about October 28, 2014, a judging panel composed of KTLA Staff and/or persons designated by KTLA will call each Semi-Finalist via telephone for a brief discussion and evaluate each one. The panel will designate five (5) Semi-Finalists as 'Finalists' based on receiving the highest scores pursuant to the following criteria:
- a) 25% - level of excitement about the possibility of winning a new car
- b) 20% - intensity of loyalty to the 'KTLA 5 Morning News' television program
- c) 55% - potential marketing and/or entertainment value
of Semi-Finalist's appearance on the 'KTLA 5 Morning News'
If there is a tie for a Finalist position, the Finalist will be determined by the highest score on criterion c) above. If a selected Finalist is not eligible, declines to be a Finalist, is found not to be in compliance with these Official Rules (or with the Official Rules of the Semi-Finalist Sweepstakes), or cannot be contacted within twenty-four (24) hours of the initial notification, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate Finalist selected by Sponsor from all remaining valid entries according to the criteria listed above.
Each Finalist will have the opportunity to participate in a competition (the 'Finalist Competition') to determine the winner of this Contest. The Finalist Competition will take place at KTLA-TV, 5800 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, 90028, between the hours of 4:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on November 3, 2014. Finalists must be available and willing to appear on-air on the KTLA 5 Morning News ('the Show') on November 3, 2014, or Finalist will be disqualified. Failure to confirm participation in the Finalist Competition by 12:00 p.m. PT ('noon') on October 30, 2014 shall result in disqualification. The Finalists agree to comply with and conform to generally accepted broadcast standards with regard to conduct, dress and language during their appearances on KTLA-TV, and such compliance shall be determined by KTLA Staff in their sole discretion. In the event of disqualification, Sponsor reserves the right to choose an alternate Finalist by the criteria set forth above or to reduce the number of Finalists competing in the Finalist Competition. KTLA reserves the right to reschedule the date of the Finalist Competition because of breaking news, technical problems or unforeseen scheduling conflicts. KTLA reserves the right to conduct the Finalist Competition without broadcasting it on television, or to record the Finalist Competition and broadcast it on a later date.
The terms, conditions and rules of the Finalist Competition will be explained to all Finalists upon being notified of their Finalist status. A printed version of the terms, conditions and rules of the Finalist Competition will also be available to all Finalists.
Sponsor reserves the right to change the Finalist Competition including (but not limited to) nature of activities or game play. Any substantial changes to the Finalist Competition will be explained verbally to all Finalists. Finalists' participation in the Finalist Competition shall be deemed an acknowledgement of their understanding and acceptance of these Contest rules, as well as the rules of the Finalist Competition as explained to them verbally and in print, and any substantial changes to the Finalist Competition communicated to them.
The Finalists will be required to present valid identification and will be required to sign a Statement of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release ('Release') by the deadline established by Sponsor in order to participate in the Finalist Competition and, if they are declared the winner, receive the prize. If a Finalist does not fulfill these requirements, he or she may be disqualified and any prize may be forfeited. The winning Finalist will be notified immediately by a KTLA Staff member upon the confirmed result of the Finalist Competition.
The winner of the Finalist Competition will receive one (1) 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA. The prize vehicle make, model and specifications will be selected by Mercedes-Benz of Southern California in its sole discretion.
The winner agrees to a background check and a credit check to confirm that the winner qualifies for acceptance of the prize. The winner is responsible for all obligations, taxes and expenses, including, but not limited to, sales tax, luxury tax, destination charges, registration, title and license fees, insurance, tax and all other costs incurred in claiming, registering or using the prize. BE AWARE THAT TAXES ON THE GRAND PRIZE WILL, IN ALL LIKELIHOOD, BE SUBSTANTIAL. DO NOT ENTER THIS CONTEST IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO PAY TAXES ON THE PRIZE . All other costs and expenses not expressly set forth herein are the winner's sole responsibility. The winner must take delivery of the prize, at his or her own expense, within 45 days of notice of availability of the prize from Sponsor at a Mercedes-Benz dealership selected by Prize Provider based on proximity to winner's residence or the prize may, at the Sponsor's sole discretion, be forfeited. No other delivery option will be available. The winner must present his or her valid driver's license and provide satisfactory proof of auto insurance prior to the delivery of the prize. The prize details and availability are subject to change. All upgrades and options are the sole responsibility of the winner. Accessories, color and options may vary and are subject to change without notice. Prize Provider reserves the right to change product specifications without incurring any obligations.
The approximate retail value ('ARV') of the prize is $33,300.00. The actual value may vary based on the actual prize selected by Sponsor. Any difference between the stated ARV and actual value will not be awarded.
THE WINNER WILL BE ISSUED A FORM 1099 FOR TAX PURPOSES IN THE AMOUNT OF THE ACTUAL RETAIL VALUE OF THE PRIZE AND MUST SUBMIT HIS/HER SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, AS REQUIRED BY LAW. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL TAXES IMPOSED ON THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRIZE ARE SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. ALL OTHER COSTS AND EXPENSES NOT EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN ARE SOLELY THE PRIZE WINNER'S RESPONSIBILITY.
