Today Google announced a new feature for its second-fiddle social network: polls.
The introduction of this feature comes with little surprise, as it closely follows Google's September purchase of Polar, a popular polling service created by well-known interface designer Luke Wroblewski. At the time, Google+ engineering vice president Dave Besbris announced that Polar would be shut down by 2015 and that the Polar team will be assigned to make Google+ 'as beautiful and simple to use as possible, especially on mobile devices.'
Here's a look at the new feature. As you'll see below, Google has already recruited brands like L'Oréal to give the polling service a try:

Later, Google shared that Polls 'will become available over the next few days on Android and the web, and are coming soon to iOS.' Polls are already live for some users; you can give the service a try here.
