Less than 24 hours after U.S. and Arab forces launched airstrikes against several targets across Syria, aimed at both the Islamic State and the Khorasan Group, the Pentagon released footage of some of those strikes on YouTube.

The videos show footage taken from the aircrafts' on board cameras. The Pentagon released them following a press conference by Army Lt. Gen. William Mayville, the director of operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

'Last night's strikes were only the beginning,' Mayville said.

The first video shows an airstrike against an ISIS compound near Tall al Qitar, northwest of Ar Raqqah, in Syria.

The video below shows a strike against an ISIS storage facility near Abu Kamal, Syria.

The last video shows a strike against an ISIS vehicle staging ground near Abu Kamal, Syria.

These three strikes were part of a wide-ranging operation in Syria launched by the United States along with Bahrain, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The strikes were the first ones conducted inside Syria, and follow a series of air strikes against ISIS in Iraq. These operations, the Pentagon said, are 'part of the President's comprehensive strategy to degrade and ultimately defeat' ISIS.

Following the strikes, President Barack Obama said on Tuesday morning that the U.S. is ready to strike ISIS and other terrorist groups anywhere they hide.

'It must be clear to anyone who would plot against America and try to do Americans harm, that we will not tolerate safe havens for terrorists who threaten our people,' Obama said.
