Robin Williams' Last Instagram Was Of His Beloved Daughter Zelda Rae

Although best known as a legendary comedian actor, Robin Williams was a father first and foremost. His heartbreaking last Instagram photo was of his daughter, whom he called his 'baby girl.' So sad.

Robin Williams was a father of three when he allegedly took his own life at the age of 63. Just one week before passing, the actor shared a 'throwback' photo dedicated to his daughter, Zelda Rae Williams, in honor of her 25th birthday. Unbeknownst to his daughter and the world, this would be Robin's last social media post ever.

Robin Williams Shares Photo With Daughter Zelda As Last Instagram

No one is more devastated over the unexpected loss of Robin than his family - specifically his three children.

Robin was the father to one daughter, Zelda Rae, 25, and two sons, Cody Alan, 22, and Zachary Pym, 31.

On July 31, just over a week before his tragic death, Robin posted a black-and-white photo of himself and Zelda, presumably from the 80's, in honor of her birthday. The caption is truly heartbreaking, and reveals exactly how much his little girl - and all of his children - meant to him.

The photo and message was cross-posted on Robin's Instagram and Twitter, which has since been deleted, sadly.

Our thoughts remain with Robin's family, especially his wife, Susan Schneider, and his three children during this very difficult time.

Robin's Family Hopes He Is Remembered For The Laughs

Embracing the tragic loss of their beloved Robin, the Williams family released a statement that will hopefully bring some ease to his loving fans and followers.

Most notably, the family's statement asks fans to remember all of the joy he brought to millions of lives for the past several decades.

'As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin's death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions,' reads the statement released by Robin's wife, Susan.
