The Walmart truck driver charged with causing the fatal car crash that has left Tracy Morgan in critical condition is speaking out following the accident.
A Twitter account that is believed to belong to Kevin Roper (the same one we reported about yesterday) was VERY active Monday night!
The 35-year-old went off on how this case is being covered by the media and DENIED reports that he had been awake for 24 hours prior to the crash!
He then expressed his sympathies to the victims and their families, especially James McNair, who was killed. Roper even described wishing it was HIM who died that night, not James!
Roper wrote:
With his condolences out of the way, Roper then launched into an angry rant about the ongoing investigation:
So, it seems like Kevin Roper is trying to say he's not at fault for this horrific crash.
But authorities disagree. He's due in court tomorrow facing five criminal counts!
Meanwhile, former SNL funny man Tracy Morgan remains hospitalized with a broken femur, broken nose, and several broken ribs.
We'll leave it to a judge to decide if Roper is really the reason this accident happened!
