'Sexy' mugshot goes viral after Facebook post by California police

Oh, he's guilty, all right - of taking thousands of women's breath away.

A chiseled, baby-blue-eyed felon's mugshot has stolen the wind from a recent California gun sting after its Facebook posting by Stockton police - drawing more than 5,000 ogling comments, 1,000 shares and 20,000 'likes.'

'Being that sexy is illegal?' one astonished admirer wrote.

'Lord have mercy....' chimed another.

'I've got handcuffs! !!!!' wrote another.

Behind Jeremy Meeks' 'blue steel' gaze into the lens - one perhaps better spent on a modeling career than a criminal one - the 30-year-old convict faces felony weapon charges after allegedly found in possession of four firearms Wednesday.

Stockton police also boasted of the arrests of three other men with Meeks, but they haven't gathered as much attention.

In contrast, Meeks' companions, Terry Bailey, 22, Juzri Coleman, 18, and Joelin Coleman, 44, have only rallied 205 'likes' between them as of Thursday evening.

'Looks like a peek a boo face,' one critic wrote for the 18-year-old Coleman's 'baby face.'

Meanwhile, three faux Facebook pages for the increasingly popular 'bad boy' have popped up on his behalf, one of which comically features a 'love boat' as its background.

Meeks' bail is set at $900,000 - a sum at least two women have joked about splitting.
