Cutest man on Earth creates Tumblr asking One Direction for help proposing to ...

He can't let these little things slip out of his mouth. So he wants 'em to do it for him.

D'ya know what? There's so much talk of weddings in One Direction world at the moment that we wouldn't be surprised if the world genuinely ended in an explosion of ovaries, 'aww's and 'AGH's. As if the whole Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards engagment scenario, Harry Styles bridesnatcher gate and Liam Payne actually accepting a proposal wasn't enough, one fella's enlisting the 1D's help in a bid to propose to his gal pal.

Yup - a fella by the name of Jon doesn't quite know how to go about popping the question to his girlfriend Alex. So what's he done? He's set up a Tumblr asking loads of Directioners for help, of course. Oh, he's a man after our own heart.

'So that brings me to you... Alex deserves nothing but the very best, and now that I'm ready to POP THE QUESTION, I want to make the event so unbelievably special, that my proposal goes down in the history books. How do I do that? I don't know... specifically. We live in Washington, D.C., and I have tickets to the upcoming concert on August 11th. Sounds like a great date to pick up a fiancé, right!?

'Alex is a huge fan of yours, and coincidentally, Story of My Life was playing on the radio the first time we exchanged the L-word. So I can't think of a better way for the two of us to begin our journey than with your help. It would be an honor if you can assist in making this date the best (so far) in the story of her life. Okay, so a couple of things. 1) Can we best best friends with Alex? 2) Can we marry Jon instead? We realise this might be quite a sticky situation for all involved, but it's probably for the best.

And guess what? Even Matty Selley off of being Harry Styles' cousin's getting himself involved in the whole campaign. He tweeted: 'Guys I support @1DProposal! It's super cool! Everyone help trend #1DProposal the boys may see!' [sic]. Amazing.
