Oscars 2014: Kim Novak's appearance sets off Twitter war

Actress Kim Novak set off a firestorm in social media following her presentation of an animation award at the 2014 Oscars.

Joined by Matthew McConaughey on stage to present an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, the 81-year-old screen legend struggled to speak, and her face seemed unnaturally stiff.

Many went on Twitter to make jokes about the 'Vertigo' star, while others rallied to her defense.

All three of us saw Kim Novak's face and said, 'Ohhh.'
