National Zoo launches its account with a selfie of its furry star. (SocialEyes, USA TODAY)

Panda-monium continues with a selfie of panda cub Bao Bao that's bound to make you smile.

The Smithsonian's National Zoo has launched an Instagram account with the help of its furry star. Bao Bao is measured in the zoo's first Instagram.

Since the 'selfie' was posted, the account has gained more than 4,400 followers.

To celebrate the cub's debut, the zoo is holding an Instameet with Bao Bao in February.
