Instagram has become an addiction for many photography lovers - including Kathy Ryan and Stacey Baker, photo editors at The New York Times Magazine - as well as a transformative platform for professional photographers seeking to explore a new, real-time medium. And while the community around the app has grown virtually, it has also forged offline connections with unofficial gatherings, called InstaMeets.

In that spirit, we thought it was time to try an Instagram meet-up of our own. And we're inviting you, and your camera phone.

Join Times editors and photographers on a tour of the newspaper's printing facility in College Point, Queens. The plant is a 515,000-square-foot space filled with giant presses, robots that deliver huge rolls of paper and an elaborate network of conveyors and machinery, which produce hundreds of thousands of newspapers each night. Opportunities for fantastic Instagrams and Instavids abound, and we are excited to see what our guests will produce.

Space is limited. If you are interested and able to attend from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, please submit your name and contact information below. Participants will be chosen by Times photo editors based on their Instagram portfolio. We will notify you by Jan. 15 if you are selected, and we will provide more detailed information at that time.

Please use the form below to apply for a spot. If you do not see a form embedded below, visit the form page directly here.
