Irina Shayk shows off her bikini bottoms in holiday Instagram shot

Even when she's not posing in glamorous photo shoots for the cameras, stunning model Irina Shayk proves she is no doubt a natural beauty.

The 28-year-old posted an Instagram shot of her laying and relaxing at a Mexican beach.

The picture is so stunning that it could have passed for one of her professional modeling shots or even a postcard.

Her day of relaxation isn't that far removed from what she does at work, basically the same thing.

Last year, the model appeared in editorial features in a host of prestigious magazines as well as on the cover of Spanish Vogue.

The model rose to fame when she appeared from 2007 to 2013 in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues.

She graced the cover of the magazine in 2011, making her the first Russian model to hold the honor.

Earlier this month, the Russian model posed for her latest campaign for American swimwear brand Beach Bunny.

Irina, who has been dating Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo since 2010, showed off her amazing figure in a succession of glamorous and teeny bikinis on a tropical beach.

The model is also due to make her film debut later this year when she appears in Hercules: The Thracian Wars as Megara, the vengeful wife of the eponymous hero, played by The Rock.

But, as these photos prove, she won't be giving up her modelling career in the near future - and even managed to make some of the more dubious designs look good.

Particularly outré was an antique gold number, which could have come direct from the costume department of Hercules: The Thracian Wars, and came complete with bling straps encrusted with turquoise stones.

In better taste was a cobalt Grecian number that boasted a smattering of pretty beading and a relatively restrained black and silver option.
