Instagram to start using advertisements

We expected this after Facebook bought Instagram.

Ads are coming to your Instagram feed, according to CNET. The first ad will be for Michael Kors, superstar designer and current trendsetter.

The ads will pop up even if you don't follow the account, just like what you're seeing on your Facebook newsfeed.

Instagram has been ad-free for three years. The popular application lets you adjust photos with filters and effects to enhance them and then allows you to share them with your friends.

Adidas, Ben & Jerry's, Burberry, General Electric, Levi's, Lexus, Macy's, PayPal, and Starwood are next on the list for Instagram ads.
